Winnipeg Wind Ensemble

Time with WWE: 3 years.
Day Job: I am a third year music educator at Ecole Golden Gate Middle School in St. James-Assiniboia School Division, teaching grade 6 to 8 concert band and jazz band.
Other “Jobs”: I have played alto saxophone with a church band at the St. Boniface.
Basilica for the past 5 years. Regularly volunteer at the Manitoba Band Association’s Senior, Junior and Intermediate honor band listening sessions.
Post-Secondary Degree: Bachelor of Education/Bachelor of Music (2005) from the University of Manitoba. University Gold Metal in Music (2005).
Experience with Other Groups: University of Manitoba Jazz Orchestra and Ensemble. University of Manitoba Wind Ensemble and Concert Band. Sang with the Assiniboine Show Chorus for 2 years (female barbershop).
